Wherever your next adventure takes you, the Ford Ranger has features designed to help you navigate rough or unusual terrain with ease. Use the available electronic-locking rear differential for needed traction. Navigate special terrain with various drive modes of the Terrain Management System™ , Ford Trail Control™ (both included in the FX4 and Tremor® Off-Road Packages) and shift into four-wheel drive easily with the electronic shift-on-the-fly dial.

TERRAIN MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Terrain Management System (included in both the FX4 and Tremor® Off-Road Packages) has four selectable drive modes to help you navigate the toughest terrain. Choose Normal, Grass/Gravel/Snow, Mud/Ruts or Sand. The system is designed to provide optimum traction, drivability and performance. Aftermarket accessories shown.

ELECTRONIC-LOCKING REAR DIFFERENTIAL

When activated, the electronic-locking rear differential locks the axle completely at both wheels simultaneously, delivering the traction off-road when you need it the most. Available as a separate option or included in the Tremor®, FX4 and FX2 Off-Road Packages.

Always consult the Owner's Manual before off-road driving, know your terrain and trail difficulty and use appropriate safety gear.

Access complimentary remote features, like start/stop, lock/unlock, schedule a start. locate vehicle and vehicle status check on the FordPass App when your vehicle is equipped with FordPass™ Connect. You can even check your fuel level and oil life with the tap of a finger.

OFF-ROAD CAPABILITY

The Ford Ranger is built for serious off-road travel. Ready for adventure, its approach and departure angles help it climb hills and clear obstacles. Ranger also offers 4H and 4L gear ratios, providing increased wheel torque for low-speed off-road situations.
